Celebrate Earth Day with Rev. Warnock, U.S. Senate Candidate

Earth Day with Rev. Warnock

Celebrate Earth Day with Rev. Warnock

This April marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, an annual event celebrated by people around the world on April 22 to demonstrate support for action on environment and climate change issues. While there has been much progress made on environmental issues since the event was founded in 1970, there remains much to do as environmental pollution goes unchecked and the impacts of a changing climate are becoming more and more apparent.

Right here in Georgia, the health of our people and planet are at risk as threats to our air, water, and land continue to go unaddressed. Now more than ever we need strong leadership from the federal government to begin making significant progress on addressing these threats.

Join us for a live Earth Day discussion with U.S. Candidate Rev. Raphael Warnock. We’ll ask Rev. Warnock a few questions about his plans for protecting Georgia’s environment, and the opportunities he sees for addressing climate change, especially in the context of COVID-19. We will conclude with 10 to 15 minutes of Q&A, where Rev. Warnock will take questions from the audience.

This event will be streamed lived on Facebook. Event Details:
