Town Hall with Fair Districts: What is the Georgia Public Service Commission?
What is the Georgia Public Service Commission and why should you care how its members are selected? Find out on February13 at 7:00 at our town hall co-produced with Fair Districts when we will focus on Georgia’s Public Service Commission (PSC), an elected body regulating electric, natural gas and telecommunication utilities and their rates. The PSC has its own electoral district map approved by the Georgia General Assembly. We are currently challenging the fairness of the PSC statewide election method in federal court, with a court ordered hold on the seats that were to be up for election last November.
