2021 Green Cities GA Environmental Platform Launch
Everyone deserves the right to breathe clean air, drink clean water, eat healthy foods, and live in a world free from environmental harm. Unfortunately accelerating climate change and ongoing environmental pollution continues to threaten the health, safety, and well-being of Georgia’s communities. Local elected leaders have the ability to transform communities by addressing the environmental and climate issues that impact people’s everyday lives. Join us as we launch our platform in partnership with Environment GA, Sierra Club GA, Poder Latinx, and The Coalition for the People’s Agenda to help voters and candidates learn more about the environmental issues and opportunities facing our cities and counties, and the immediate actions that local leaders can take to secure a more just and sustainable future for all.
