Georgia Conservation Voters (GCV) stands firmly with our endorsed candidate, Daniel Blackman, in the race for Georgia’s Public Service Commission District 3.
While the recent administrative law judge’s ruling on Daniel’s residency challenge has raised questions, this decision is not final. Daniel is actively appealing the ruling, and we are confident that voters—not technicalities—should decide this election.
We strongly encourage all voters to take advantage of early voting and to make their voices heard by Election Day, June 17th. GCV has no plans to endorse any other candidate in the District 3 Democratic primary.
Daniel’s Public Statement:
“While I respect the administrative law judge’s ruling, it is just one step in a process that is far from over. We are reviewing all legal options to ensure voters—not technicalities—decide this election. I trust Secretary Raffensperger will review the facts and uphold my qualification to serve. In the meantime, I remain focused on engaging voters and fighting for the change Georgia needs at the Public Service Commission.”Daniel continues to campaign actively across District 3, advocating for lower utility costs, increased transparency, and a more accountable, responsive Public Service Commission.
