Atlanta, Georgia — In response to President Joe Biden’s trip to Georgia, Georgia Conservation Voters Executive Director Brionté McCorkle released the following statement:

“Today, we are standing with our friends, fellow advocates, allies and voting rights leaders who remain committed to protecting Georgians’ freedom to vote. We will not be attending President and VP’s speech today in Atlanta. We need action, urgently, not another speech.We urge the U.S. Senate to be vote tomorrow, and for our President and VP to act immediately to pass federal legislation to protect our freedom to vote.”
